Should I Be Concerned?

Okay, so anyone who knows me or who has read this blog knows that I hate to be an alarmist. I'm also the first person to mock the individual silly enough to don the Chicken Little costume. And to top it off, I was the one who urged all of us to step back and take a deep breath any time we find ourselves reacting disproportionately to a news article.

But frankly this scares me:

Sure, this is being dubbed a military training exercise. But it's no coincidence that said exercise is taking place in the Pacific, where North Korea is in spitting distance (relatively speaking of course).

And thus begins another rousing game of "Whip 'em out boys and see whose is bigger."
